Mahindra is looking forward on exporting its newly launched small commercial vehicle Genio. The company believes the Genio having design, comfort and convenience of international standards. Mahindra currently exports the Bolero to SAARC countries and South Africa. The Genio is being manufactured at the companies Chakan facility, which will be ramped up, once exports of the Genio commences.
“We are very keen on exporting this, when we conceptualised this product, we were also looking at in exporting also. We are confident that it will drive the growth in the pickup segment,” Mahindra Senior VP (Sales and Customer Care), Arun Malhotra said.
