The Hyundai i20 Active has been updated to meet the safety norms.
Hyundai has updated the i20 Active lineup in India to meet the new safety norms. The 2019 model year i20 Active is priced from Rs. 7.74 lakhs (ex-showroom). There are no changes in the styling and in the mechanical front.
The updated Hyundai i20 Active gets standard safety features to meet the new government norms. These features include reverse parking sensors with a rear-view camera, speed alert system and driver and passenger seatbelt reminder.
Other safety features include standard dual front airbags while the SX variant comes with additional side and curtain airbags. ABS is standard across all the variants. However, ISOFIX child seat mounts are offered only with the SX trim.
There are no cosmetic changes, it comes with projector headlamps up front with LED DRLs, body cladding, front and rear skid plates, 16-inch alloy wheels, etc.
The interior gets Satin Red or Alps Blue colour theme to differentiate with the Elite i20. The i20 Active comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto along with Arkamys sound system as standard for both the variants.
The Hyundai i20 Active is powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine options. Both are available only with 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmissions respectively.
The 2019 updated i20 Active is Rs. 2000/- more expensive than the outgoing version.
