The much awaited new generation Octavia RS has been leaked and it looks very sporty.
Skoda is about to unveil their global favourite sedan Octavia very soon but ahead of its official debut, the images have been leaked. The new generation Octavia image leaked last week and now the Octavia RS version.
The performance version of the 2020 Octavia looks absolutely gorgeous. The overall design remains the same but it’s the little details that makes it look very sporty. The stance is lower, it gets full black butterfly grille, sporty bumper, blacked out roof, side skirts and those gorgeous alloy wheels with red brake callipers.
The overall design language of the new generation Octavia looks mature and sometimes it looks inspired by the Superb. We can expect a sleek looking minimalistic interior as well loaded with tech and for the RS version there will be an all-black interior with sports bucket seats.
The new generation Octavia is based on the MQB platform. It is expected to be launched sometime next year. The Octavia RS is likely to hit the Indian shores via CBU route just like its predecessor in limited numbers.
The engine is expected to be an updated 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit that produces around 245 BHP of power mated to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
