The Jawa ‘90th Anniversary Edition’ motorcycle is limited to just 90 units.
Marking 90 years since the brand came into existence, Jawa has announced a limited-edition motorcycle based on the dual-channel ABS Jawa at Rs. 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Production is limited to just 90 units of this motorcycle.
Since the numbers are limited and Jawa claims that all its products are sold out till 31st March 2020, the company is not going for a first come first serve basis. Instead, it is going to opt for a lucky draw among customers with existing bookings or those who make one before 22nd October. The bikes will reach dealerships on 15th October 2019 and deliveries will begin right after the lucky draw results.
The 90th Anniversary Edition Jawa features a red and ivory body paint scheme inspired by the brand’s 1st motorcycle, the Jawa 500 OHV. Every bike will bear an individual serial number along with a ’90th Anniversary’ emblem on the fuel tank.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains identical to its standard sibling and draws power from a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine producing 27 PS and 28 Nm of torque.
