Suzuki Gixxer 155 gets LED headlamps and standard single-channel ABS, no major changes seen.
Suzuki is likely to launch the 2019 Gixxer 155 in India in the coming months. While the bike was expected to get a major makeover just like the Gixxer SF, leaked images show the updated design of the bike.
The 2019 Gixxer 155 is identical to its heavily updated sibling, the Gixxer SF. The tank still holds the broad shoulder lines. The tail-piece gets split-seat setup, body coloured split rails and LED tail-lights. The white backlit digital instrument console and the full LED headlamp contributes to a much fresher appeal of the bike.
The Gixxer 155 will be powered by a 155cc single cylinder, air cooled engine, de-tuned to produce 13.9 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. It will be paired to a 5-speed transmission.
New Suzuki Gixxer SF is priced at Rs. 1.09 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). So we can expect the Gixxer 155 to be priced around Rs. 1 lakh after its launch. The bike is targeted to go head on against the likes of Yamaha FZ-S, Honda CB Hornet 160R and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
