Bajaj has launched a new TVC highlighting the past feats achieved by the Dominar and the new highlights of the 2019 Dominar 400.
The video starts with the achievement of the Dominar 400 at the Polar Odyssey, where three Indian origin riders took three Dominar 400s from Arctic to Antarctic. The riders were on the road for 99 days and had covered 51,000 km across 3 continents to achieve this feat on their stock Bajaj Dominar 400 bikes.
Now, the new TVC released by Bajaj shows the 2019 Dominar 400 escaping from the dust of its past and ready to conquer new world with the bike proving its reliability during its previous adventures.
The TVC highlights the journeys the Dominar 400 bikes have been on, some of them include the Dominar Trans-Siberian Odyssey, Dominar A.S.E.A.N Cross Country Odyssey, Dominar Austral-Asian Odyssey and the famous Dominar Polar Odyssey.
During its journeys, the Dominar 400 bikes have covered 5 continents in total and tackled four of the most difficult roads like the Road of Bones, James Dalton Highway, Death Road, and the Pan-American Highway.
The bikes have performed in extreme temperatures, from -20 degrees to 54 degrees and covered altitudes ranging from -282 ft and 15,000 ft. Now, the new 2019 Dominar 400 is here and retails at Rs. 1,74,125/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The TVC highlights the features of the new Dominar 400 and shows us what is better on the bike now.
The bike now sits on 43 mm USD forks up front, with a softer monoshock at the rear to maximise touring comfort. The bike sports the new Auroral Green paint scheme that is a customer favourite now.
The 2019 Dominar 400 comes with the same 373.3cc DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine which now produces 40 PS and at 8650 RPM and 35 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The bump in power takes the updated bike in the KTM Duke 390 territory, making it a more agile and powerful bike than before.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Another icing on the cake for the new Dominar 400 is the twin barrel exhaust that gives the bike a throaty exhaust note and muscular looks. The bike also comes with a split-LCD display and now incorporates mileage, time, gear position indicator, etc.
