A new quarter-litre offering from the Japanese manufacturer is here in the Indian market.
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 launched at Rs. 1,70,655/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) is here to make its mark. The latest offering from Suzuki comes with a new radical design with a LED headlamp set-up, sporty split seats and a double-barrel exhaust system.
Powering the all-new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC engine which produces 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a dual-channel ABS as standard. The bike weighs in at 161 kgs and has a seat height of 800 mm and is fitted with a 12-litre fuel tank.
The quarter-litre Gixxer SF comes with telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. It is fitted with a 110 section tyre at the front and a 150 section tyre at the rear. It will be pitted against the Honda CBR250R, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and the Yamaha Fazer 25. It comes with two colour options – Metallic Mat Platinum Silver and Metallic Mat Black.
