Bajaj still dominating the 150cc segment month after month.
We see the Bajaj Pulsar 150 taking the top spot with 83,228 units of the motorcycle being sold in March. Coming on the second spot, we see TVS Apache series, selling a cumulative of 42,965 bikes. Yamaha FZ sees a decrease in sales by 4 percent, with the company managing to sell only 18,362 units of the bike. Yamaha MT-15 the newcomer has secured a sweet sixth place in the standings, which indicates that the bike is definitely living up to its hype. The fully-faired sibling of the MT-15, the R15 takes the 5th spot, with recorded sales of 9503 units.
Honda X-Blade has seen the most decrease in sales from 2721 units to 1853 units. Bajaj’s Avenger 150 sees zero units sold in the month of March, showing the declining appeal for the bike. Suzuki Intruder sees only 96 units sold in March, whereas it sold 4495 units in February, with an MoM decline of a staggering 98 percent. However, Suzuki has launched the updated version hoping to churn out big numbers from the bike.
