Hyundai has kept up the suspense for the Venue, with new interior sketches that give us a fair idea of how it will be.
With the Hyundai Venue set to be revealed on the 17th of April, the company has kept up the suspense. After the launch of the official sketches of the vehicle, we got more than a fair bit of idea as to how the car was going to turn out. The SUV gets a squat and a beefy stance to it. Sitting around the signature Hyundai cascade grille is a pair of dual-headlamp setup. This setup gets an aggressive slit-like lights up top and the main headlights are situated between the square LED DRLs. At the rear, the car gets a robust and beefy looking boot with square tail lights. To complement the upright stance of the vehicle, the rear profile comes with a scuff plate.
Now, the company has revealed the exact interior sketches of the vehicle. The car will come with a dual-tone dashboard, which has a slit on the passenger side to keep your wallets, phones, etc. At the centre, the 8-inch infotainment system does not miss your eye with the floating look to it. The infotainment system will be smartphone compatible, that means it will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Just below the infotainment system, we see an automatic gearbox that seems to miss out on an optional sports setting.
The seats and the doors are also finished in the dual-tone scheme. Rear AC vents are also seen sitting behind the driver armrest, that is also believed to have storage underneath it. The AC vents on the dashboard also seem to follow the square-ish styling. Also seen are the door bins, that look big enough to fit substantially large bottles.
The Venue will be fitted with an all-new 1.0-litre T-GDi turbo petrol engine, 1.4-litre petrol and 1.4-litre turbo diesel. The new turbo petrol engine produces 100 BHP and 172 Nm of torque. While the 1.4-litre petrol engine produces 99 BHP, and the 1.4-litre turbo diesel produces 89 BHP and 225 Nm of torque. The car will come with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
