Hyundai Venue to get BlueLink Connectivity, to come with 33 features of which, ten are specifically developed for India.
Hyundai is soon launching the Hyundai Venue compact SUV in India. The manufacturer has also teased the upcoming compact SUV in a video. The Hyundai BlueLink connectivity will be offered with the Venue. Hyundai has partnered with Vodafone Idea telecommunication company for the e-SIM network connectivity.
Now moving to the BlueLink technology, it has 33 features which are supported by Artificial Intelligence. Out of the 33 features, 10 are said to be India specific. Hyundai says that they have been testing the BlueLink connectivity in India rigorously. Hyundai plans to introduce more models in the future featuring modern connectivity options.
Coming to the connectivity, the built-in BlueLink device comes with an e-sim which will be provided by Vodafone Idea. The device can use 4G connectivity and also use lower frequencies in case there is a drop in the network. It will also come with a cloud-based voice recognition system from a global AI company. The device will deliver real-time traffic navigation. Along with it, it also gets active voice recognition.
Hyundai’s BlueLink features applications Automatic Crash Notification (ACN) and Assistance, SOS Emergency Assistance and Roadside Assistance. It also gets Emergency Alerts and Panic Assistance, Geo-Fence, Stolen Vehicle Notification and Vehicle Immobilisation. The BlueLink also features vehicle-related functions like Remote Engine Start/Stop, Remote Climate Control, Remote Door and Unlock, Remote Horn Honk; Light and Remote vehicle status. The BlueLink also allows the owner of the car to add more members to the system and each of them will get a notification in case of an emergency.
The Hyundai Venue is slated to launch in the first half of the year. Upon its launch, it will rival against the likes of the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V and the Ford EcoSport.
