Honda’s visually revised version, the CB150R Streetster is now on sale in Thailand.
The CB150R Streetster has gone up for sale in Thailand now, Honda has priced it from 99,800/- baht (Rs 2.16 lakh). The bike is now much more appealing with the new paint scheme and the sizzling hot red paint on the brake callipers. The bike shares its styling, components and tech with the CB300R that was recently launched in India.
The bike comes powered by a 149cc DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the performance figures of the bikes are currently unavailable, but is expected to be around 18-20 BHP. It is underpinned by a diamond frame that is also fitted on the CB300R.
The bike rests on 41 mm USD forks up front and a monoshock set-up at the rear. The braking power is provided by 296 mm discs at the front and 220 mm discs at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. It gets LED headlights, taillights and indicators. The instrument console on the bike is also fully digital.
There is no news about the India launch as of now, but if it comes to the Indian market, it will compete head-to-head with the Yamaha MT-15 and the KTM Duke 125. The price may be lower than the Thailand-spec model as we have seen on the CB300R.
