The latest Hyundai offering has been seen battling the rough roads between Ajmer and Jaipur in the new teaser video.
The new teaser shows the Venue compact SUV in wraps being driven around the wild terrain of Rajasthan ahead of its debut next month. The teaser video shows one rather distinct feature of the Venue, which is the square LED DRLs. The car is seen being driven around the dusty road and the ghat section between Ajmer to Jaipur, with the temperatures outside touching 44.9 degrees.
Looking at the car from the front, we see the signature Hyundai cascade grille, which is flanked by those massive square shaped LED DRLs and the sleek looking headlamps, giving the car a pretty wholesome look.
The Venue will be officially unveiled at the 2019 New York Auto Show on 17th April 2019. The compact SUV is expected to be launched in India in mid-May 2019. The top-spec variant of the Venue will be loaded with features such as a sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system and it may also feature a first-in-segment ventilated seats.
The car is expected to come with a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and auto climate control. In terms of safety, it is expected that the car will come with multiple airbags and rear parking sensors with a camera.
The Hyundai Venue is likely to be powered by a 1.4-litre petrol and diesel engine options, that will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Another engine likely to be on offer will be a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
