Bookings for the 2019 Honda CBR650R have commenced at Wing World outlets in India.
The new Honda CBR650R was showcased at the 2018 EICMA as a replacement for the CBR650F. Bookings for the CBR650R have now started at Wing World outlets in 22 cities in India. The bike can be booked by paying Rs. 15,000/- and it’s price is going to be under Rs. 8 lakhs.
Many design elements on the bike are inspired by the larger CBR1000RR Fireblade. The chassis of the CBR650R is 6 kgs lighter than its predecessor. The bike looks quite sharp and the side fairing has been extended while the rear section is a bit shorter.
The Honda CBR650R is powered by a 649cc, inline-4 engine belting out 93 HP and 64 Nm. The bike gets a slipper clutch and Honda Selectable Torque Control which can be switched off. It also gets 41 mm Showa Separate Fork Function USD forks.
The motorcycle comes with dual radial-mount calipers with a single-piston rear caliper. It also gets dual channel ABS. In India, the Honda CBR650R will be available in 2 colour options – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
