A video shot on-board the Honda CB300R shows its top speed of 160 km/hr.
Honda launched the CB300R in India a few days back at a price of Rs. 2.41 lakhs (ex-showroom) and this new motorcycle has sparked a lot of interest in buyers. A new video has emerged, which shows a rider hitting the top speed on the CB300R.
In the video, the rider hits the 160 km/hr mark in 6th gear in the initial attempt and in the next attempt he manages to hit 155 km/hr (both speeds are speedo-indicated). In comparison, the KTM Duke 390 has a top speed of about 165 km/hr.
The Honda CB300R comes powered by a 286cc, single-cyl, 4-valve, DOHC engine churning out 30.4 HP at 8500 RPM and 27.5 Nm at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The CB300R rivals the likes of the KTM Duke 390 and BMW G 310 R.
