Hyundai will be launching Verna AT in petrol SX+ and diesel SX(O) variants.
Hyundai will be launching two new automatic variants of the Verna. The Petrol AT will be available in SX+ variant. While the diesel AT is currently offered in EX and SX variants and it will now come in SX(O) variant too.
The Petrol SX+ AT variant gets additional features like smart-key with push button start, wireless charging and smart trunk. The Diesel SX(O) AT variant comes with wireless charging and telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel along with other features like ventilated seats, electric sunroof and leather upholstery.
Hyundai Verna comes with safety aids like dual front airbags and ABS with EBD as standard. While the top-spec Verna comes with impact sensing auto door unlock, ISOFIX, side and curtain airbags and rear parking sensors with camera.
The Verna Petrol SX+ AT variant is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 121 BHP and 151 Nm. The Diesel SX(O) AT is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that develops 126 BHP and 260 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
With the addition of AT in other variants, the company is expecting to sell more units in the coming months. Hyundai has sold around 3500 units of the Verna in the month of September.
