Okinawa Scooters has launched the new Ridge+ (lithium-ion) with new features.
The increasing fuel price and carbon dioxide in the planet are one of the biggest problems we are facing right now. But Okinawa Scooters have an answer to these problems, the company has launched the Okinawa Ridge+ (lithium-ion) with detachable battery. Okinawa claims that it will cost 20 paise/km with a long range.
The Ridge+ gets a 800-watt, BLDC Motor powered by lithium-ion battery. It gets a top speed of 55 km/hr and a range of 120 km in a single charge. The bike maker claims that this scooter gets the best in class loading capacity of 150 kg.
In terms of safety, it offers drum brakes on the front and rear, central locking, anti-theft alarm and keyless entry. This scooter also gets E-ABS (Electronic-Assisted Braking System) and a find my scooter function that enables you to locate the scooter through a remote.
The Ridge+ is available in two colour options – Lucent Orange/Magna Grey and Mid Night Blue. This scooter will be available at authorised dealers only. The company is planning to roll out 500 units of Ridge+ in selected states, followed with 1500 units of Ridge+ by November 18.
Okinawa has priced this scooter at Rs. 64,988/- (ex-showroom, pan-India) which makes this scooter an affordable deal compared to its rival. The company aims to sell maximum numbers of this scooter through authorised dealers in a few states.
