Tata Hexa now comes with a new XM+ variant which gets some more features over the regular XM trim.
Tata Motors is currently being quite aggressive with introduction of updates and new product launches this fiscal. The Indian carmaker has recently teased the new Tigor, they have added new alloys to the Safari, constantly teasing the Harrier and now they have added a new variant in the Hexa lineup.
The Tata Hexa was launched with three variants – XE, XM and XT. Now there is a new XM+ trim launched, which is positioned just below the range topping XT trim. The Hexa XM+ is priced at Rs. 15.27 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The XM+ trim offers more features but is available only in the 4×2 manual 7-seater trim.
Some of the new features include 16-inch charcoal grey alloy wheels, soft touch dashboard, leather wrapped steering wheel, auto climate control with dual AC, front fog lamps, reverse parking camera and sensors, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers and electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs.
Tata is also offering electric sunroof as an accessory with the Hexa that comes with a warranty of 2 years. Since the Hexa competes with the Mahindra XUV500, we expect Tata to add more features. They should consider a range topping XT+ trim loaded with sunroof, electric seats, keyless entry with push button start and the likes.
