Hyundai has updated the range topping variant of the Elantra with new features.
Hyundai cars are always known to be rich in features. The Koreans offer all the bells and whistles possible in that segment. One of the best example is the Elantra. The D-Segment sedan has now been updated with more new features. The additional features though are offered only in the range topping SX(O) AT variant.
The new changes include front parking sensors, wireless phone charging, emergency stop signal, sliding front armrest and AutoLink connectivity. The front sensors come in handy while parking the vehicle in tight spots. Since the Creta already offered wireless charging, adding this feature to the Elantra was a good move.
There are no mechanical or styling changes with this update. The Elantra is powered by a 1.6-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol engine. Both the engines are offered in 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission options. The new features are available only in the top spec SX(O) variant, that too AT.
