Ducati updates the Scrambler 800 with new features, cosmetics and new colour options.
The Scrambler range is one of the most popular and highest selling range in the Ducati lineup. The Italian bike maker has revealed an updated version of the Scrambler 800. The bike gets cosmetic, electronic and mechanical updates that makes it more desirable.
The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Icon will go on sale in November this year. We expect it to hit the Indian shores soon after its global launch. Some of the significant changes on the styling front include new headlight with LED DRLs, new tank panels and muffler cover along with 10-spoke alloy wheels. It also gets a new Atomic Tangerine colour option.
Some of the tweaks are derived from its elder sibling, the Scrambler 1100. Some other changes of the Ducati 800 include new switchgear, new LED turn indicators with self cancelling feature, revised seat, improved suspension setup, hydraulic clutch control with adjustable levers and the new Ducati Multimedia System that helps the rider connect via Bluetooth.
The new Scrambler also gets Cornering ABS tech that boosts its safety quotient. Apart from these cosmetic and electronic updates there are no changes and the engine remains the same.
