Livid Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 owners have now decided to donate their bikes.
Limited Edition is no small word, it attracts a different set of buyers, who knowing very well that the product they are buying is costing more just for exclusivity, not in terms of technology but in terms of colours and graphics. And when the limited edition product is no longer exclusive, it beats the very point.
Royal Enfield Pegasus 500, a limited edition motorcycle based on the Classic 500 which pays homage to the British Army has lost its charm as the recently launched Classic 350 Signals has similar add-ons. Not only this has bothered Pegasus owners but even the fact that the Signals 350 isn’t a limited edition bike and also comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Thus, the unhappy owners of the Pegasus 500 made some noise but Royal Enfield hasn’t done anything to address their concerns. With no hope from the British brand, Pegasus 500 owners have threatened to donate their limited edition motorcycles for garbage collection if the Classic 350 Signals is delivered to customers with the stenciled serial numbers and logos positioned at the front of the fuel tank.
Pegasus owners believe they will be contributing to Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan by donating their bikes to the respective municipalities of their cities.
