The BMW G 310 GS was launched in India at a price higher than expected. BMW isn’t clearly aiming for high volume sales by pricing the bike at Rs. 3.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). Even though the G 310 GS is marketed as an adventure motorcycle, the company still doesn’t offer any accessories for it. But this hasn’t stopped aftermarket part makers from launching their own line of products for the G 310 GS. Case in point is MotoUsher which has launched a slew of accessories for the bike.
MotoUsher is a Nagpur based distributor company that specialises in aftermarket parts for a range of sportsbikes. They have just revealed their accessory portfolio for the BMW G 310 GS adventure motorcycle for those looking to make their bikes proper off-roaders.
The accessories list includes a touring windscreen, rear top case rack, quick-release panniers rack, ergonomic mirror extensions, front suspension and swing arm sliders, and radiator protection guard. Other accessories include fairing safety guard, headlight protection guard, handlebar riser and enlarged brake and gear shifter levers. MotoUsher is also offering aftermarket high-performance EBC brake pads, clutch plates and Barkbusters hand guards. All the accessories have been made by well-known brands like Wunderlich, Hepco Becker, Scottoiler among others.
Since the accessories are specifically made for adventure motorcycles by brands with high standards, you don’t have to worry about the quality and fit and finish. The quality does come at a price though and won’t be suited to everyone’s pockets. The prices start at Rs. 1100/- for the clutch plates and go all the way up to Rs. 19,780/- for the seat + rack bag.
For the uninitiated, the BMW G 310 GS is a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motorcycle for the adventurists. It produces 34 HP at 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 7500 RPM. Power is transferred through a 6-speed transmission to the rear wheel. It comes with off-road capable tyres and 180 mm of suspension travel.
