2018 Audi Q5 petrol launched in India with prices starting from Rs. 55.27 lakhs.
Post the launch of the Audi Q5 diesel, the Audi Q5 petrol has been launched in India priced from Rs. 55.27 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). Bookings for the SUV have commenced and the petrol-powered version will be available in all Audi dealerships across the country. Audi sold 90% of its cars with diesel engines in 2015 and this came down to 70% by the end of last year. The German company now plans to sell 50% of its cars with petrol engines in 2020.
Powering the 2018 Audi Q5 petrol is the same 2.0-litre engine that does duty in the Q7. The 2.0-litre TFSI motor produces 252 HP of power, 370 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Sprint to 100 km/hr from halt comes up in just 6.3 seconds while the top speed is rated at 237 km/hr.
The 2018 Audi Q5 petrol comes with all the bells and whistles that are offered in the diesel variant. That includes a large single frame chrome grille, LED headlights, panoramic sunroof and LED tail-lights. Features on offer inside the cabin include Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI control with a touchpad, electrically adjustable front seats, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, electromechanical parking brake, electric tailgate, hill descent assist, rearview camera, cruise control, leather upholstery and 3-zone Deluxe automatic AC.
