Race-spec TVS Apache RR 310 revealed for the One Make Championship, race bike makes 38 PS of power!
Alongside the race-tuned Apache RTR 200 Race Edition 2.0, TVS has also unveiled the race-spec Apache RR 310 for the first edition of the One Make Championship RR 310 in the open category. The race-spec Apache RR 310 gets a host of mechanical changes.
For starters, the 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor now produces 38 PS of power at 10,300 RPM and comes fitted with a fuel injection system with a 40 mm Throttle body. For comparison, the stock Apache RR 310 makes 34 PS at 9700 RPM while the KTM RC 390 churns out 43.5 PS at 9000 RPM. TVS hasn’t revealed the torque figures for the bike but it is likely to be identical to the stock Apache RR 310.
Apart from the bump in the power output, the race-spec Apache RR 310 also comes equipped with a race-tuned exhaust, improved induction system, specially mapped ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and modified foot pegs. The result of all these modifications is that the motorcycle can hit speeds of 175 km/hr. The claimed top speed in the stock Apache RR 310 is 160 km/hr.
