The 2018 Pulsar 150 Twin Disc has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 78,016/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is available in three colour choices – Black with Blue, Black with Red and Black with Chrome.
The 2018 version of the Pulsar 150 features cosmetic changes only and gets some extra equipment. Some might even mistake the new 150 to be a Pulsar 180 all thanks to the fatter telescopic front forks (37 mm) and split seats along with a split grab rail. Like the 180, the new Pulsar 150 also gets a similar-looking exhaust which sports a satin-finish heat shield and a 230 mm rear disc (a first for the Pulsar 150). While the twin rear shock absorbers are carried over, the 2018 Pulsar 150 gets a wider rear tyre (120-section, identical to the ones on the Pulsar 180). Surprisingly, the motorcycle also gets a new footpeg assembly.
The updated Pulsar 150 comes powered by the same 149.5cc single-cylinder, 2-valve, twin-spark motor as before. The powertrain develops 14 PS of power and 13.4 Nm of torque. The 2018 Pulsar 150 rivals the Hero Achiever, Honda CB Unicorn 150 and the TVS Apache 160 V2.
