The 2018 Honda CBR250R price starts at Rs. 1.64 lakhs, gets a full-LED headlamp and new colour options.
Honda unveiled the updated CBR250R at the 2018 Auto Expo and has now announced the prices for the same. The 2018 Honda CBR250R price starts at Rs. 1.64 lakhs for the STD variant while the ABS variant is priced at Rs. 1.93 lakhs (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
So what are the changes on the CBR250R apart from the engine now being BS4 compliant? In terms of design, the motorcycle remains identical to the older version but gets a LED headlamp with AHO and new body graphics (inspired by the original Fireblade of the 1990s). The instrument cluster is the same analogue-digital meter as before and we would have liked if the company had at least offered a fully digital console. The underpinnings and mechanicals too remain the same as on the BS3 version.
Powered by the same 249.6cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, it makes 26.5 PS of power and 22.9 Nm of torque. The fuel-injected motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The vehicle is available in a choice of 4 colours – Matte Axis Grey with Mars Orange, Matte Axis Grey with Striking Green, Pearl Sports Yellow and Sports Red. Honda hasn’t given any official word with regards to the launch of the updated CBR150R but expect the company to launch the R15 rival in the coming months.
