Video of an Apache RR 310 modified with underseat exhaust system has been gaining popularity on the internet.
Launched in December 2017 as TVS’ flagship product, the Apache RR 310 is off to a mediocre start because of limited availability across the country. There’s no denying the underlying practicality of the package which has made it an irresistible choice among motoring enthusiasts. A video shared on social media showcasing an underseat dual exhaust system on the RR 310 has been doing the rounds on the internet.
The video has been uploaded by a motorcycle customisation hub known as Verma Automotives based out of Chandigarh. Seen in the clip is a Racing Black coloured Apache RR 310 equipped with a custom dual underseat exhaust system from Akrapovic. The team at Verma Automotives has got rid of the stock exhaust and tyre hugger and installed a one-into-two layout exhaust setup.
Whether the modification results in a power bump or is merely for aural pleasure isn’t clear yet. Apart from a quick walkaround of the Apache, the video showcases the exhaust note towards the end. Needless to say, the system sounds much better than the tamer stock setup and goes well with the Apache’s dynamic character.
The TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by a 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor that puts out 33.5 HP of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. Features such as dual-channel ABS, bi-LED projector headlamps and KYB suspension come as standard. The Apache RR 310 has been priced at Rs. 2.05 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and takes the KTM RC 390 and Benelli 302R head on.
