The Ducati Panigale V4 has been launched in India, is priced from Rs. 20.53 lakhs.
Ducati has launched the most-awaited Panigale V4 in India with an introductory price of Rs. 20.53 lakhs for the standard trim and Rs. 25.29 lakhs for the S grade (both prices, ex-showroom, pan-India). While bookings for the exotic motorcycle have commenced, only 20 units have been allotted to India, for the year 2018. Bookings made before 31st May will include an exclusive numbered memorabilia during the time of delivery and the first two Panigale V4 customers will get a sponsored Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course which will be held in June 2018 in Malaysia.
The first Ducati production motorcycle to sport a 4-cylinder engine, the Panigale is the closest Ducati possible to its MotoGP counterpart. While the engine specifications remain the same between the Panigale V4 and the Panigale V4 S, the V4 S grade adds Ohlins suspension setup with new adjustment interface, forged aluminium rims and a lithium-ion battery. The Panigale V4 draws power from a Desmosedici Stradale 1103cc V4 motor that produces 214 HP at 13,000 RPM and 124 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift (up and down).
Braking duties are taken care by twin 330 mm discs at the front and a single 245 mm disc at the rear. The vehicle gets a 5-inch colour TFT display and tips the scales at 198 kgs (195 kgs for the V4 S trim). The Panigale V4 isn’t about ridiculous performance only. The electronics package including Bosch Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Engine Brake Control, Ducati Slide Control EVO, Riding modes (Race, Sport and Street) and Power modes ensure that the rider always stays safe on the road as well as the track.
