The Mahindra U321 MPV interiors have been spied up close in a video, gets dual-tone dashboard and touchscreen infotainment.
Mahindra’s upcoming MPV, codenamed U321 is set to be unveiled in a few weeks from now and the interior of the car has been spied up close already. We have seen the vehicle’s exterior in numerous spy shots but this time around we get a clear picture of how the interior is designed.
As seen in the video, the cabin gets a dual-tone (black and beige) effect and in between there is a nice looking piano black insert. Below the central aircon vents, you can find a touchscreen infotainment system and look even below, you will find the automatic climate control switches. Other highlights are chrome door handles, fabric upholstery and front armrests. The Mahindra U321 is the company’s first MPV to have a monocoque construction and is expected to be offered in 7 and 8-seater variants.
Previous spy shots of the exterior reveal that the car is likely to get LED DRLs, projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels with all four disc brakes (on the top-end trims). Powering the U321 will be a new in-house developed 1.6-litre diesel motor which is tuned to produce 125 HP of power and 305 Nm of torque. A petrol engine is likely to be offered too. The automaker will position the U321 MPV between the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova.
