Jaguar has launched the locally assembled F-Pace in India at a price of Rs. 60.02 lakhs.
The Jaguar F-Pace CKD has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 60.02 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India). The local assembly has led to a price cut of approximately Rs. 14.48 lakhs for the Prestige variant. The F-Pace was launched last year (as CBU) and was priced at Rs. 74.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the 2.0 Diesel Prestige variant. The F-Pace CKD is available in the 20d Prestige variant only while the 30d variant has been discontinued for now.
Bookings for the SUV have commenced with deliveries beginning later this month. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged Ingenium diesel motor produces 177 HP of power at 4000 RPM and 430 Nm of torque from 1750-2500 RPM. The oil-burner comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with Jaguar Sequential Shift. The SUV weighs over 2 tonnes and offers good driving pleasure.
Coupled with the head turner looks and distinctive design, the Jaguar F-Pace also comes feature-loaded. It gets adaptive LED headlights, activity key, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 380-Watts Meridian Sound System, ambient mood lighting, four-zone climate control, 12.3-inch virtual instrument display and electrically reclining rear seats. Safety features include rear view camera, Emergency Brake Assist, front, side and curtain airbags, automatic headlights and automatic wipers.
The Jaguar F-Pace goes against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Range Rover Evoque, BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
