The Tata Hexa Downtown Urban Edition has been launched, priced from Rs. 12.18 lakhs.
Tata Motors has launched the Hexa Downtown Edition, priced from Rs. 12.18 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special edition comes with cosmetic changes and equipment additions. No mechanical changes have been made to the vehicle.
The Tata Hexa Downtown Urban Edition comes in a new Urban Bronze exterior colour and in two package options – Absolute and Indulge. Both the packages give the Hexa’s headlights, tail-lights, ORVMs and sides chrome surrounds and also Downtown badging, side steps, wireless smartphone charging, carpet set and a car care kit.
The Absolute package on the lower XE, XM and XMA trims adds new brown seat covers while the Indulge package on the lower trims adds 16-inch alloy wheels. The higher XT and XTA trims, with the Indulge package, comes with two 10.1-inch Blaupunkt infotainment screens on the headrests and a dashboard-mounted heads-up display.
The Hexa Downtown Urban Edition continues to be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 150 HP of power and 320 Nm of torque (in the XE variant) and 156 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque (in the XM and XT variants). The XE trim gets a 5-speed manual gearbox while the others get a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
