The Ford EcoSport facelift Titanium S variant has been spotted in India ahead of its launch.
The facelifted Ford EcoSport Titanium S variant has been spotted in India. Ford is all set to launch the facelifted version of its compact SUV by this Diwali.
The Titanium S will sit above the Titanium variant. The car spotted here wears a Lightning Blue exterior paint scheme. While the Titanium gets lots of chrome treatment to its exteriors, the Titanium S comes with dark grey and black treatment. The grille comes finished in dark grey, the fog lamps housing is finished in black plastic, there is a blacked out roof panel and black roof rails. The vehicle also gets smoked headlamps.
Instantly noticeable at the side profile are the 5-spoke grey-finished alloy wheels that look super-cool. A blacked out rear spoiler adds flair to the rear section of the car. The TDCi badge indicates that this car is powered by a diesel engine. The interior gets an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system.
The recently unveiled 1.5-litre Dragon petrol engine will make its debut in the facelifted EcoSport, while the 1.5-litre diesel as seen in the current EcoSport will continue. The 1.5 Dragon petrol motor makes 123 HP of power and 150 Nm of torque. The petrol engine will come paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 1.5-litre diesel churns out 100 HP of power and 205 Nm of torque. The oil-burner comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. The American carmaker has shifted production for the European-spec EcoSport from India to Romania. Until now, Ford had been exporting the EcoSport from Chennai. The Chennai facility will now cater only to India and some neighbouring markets.
