Maruti is going to revamp its existing car showrooms and will rename them as Arena outlets.
Maruti today unveiled the Arena brand of retail network in India. With this, the company has 4 different retail channels to address the requirements of varied customers- there’s NEXA, Arena, Maruti Suzuki Commercial, (where it sells the Carry LCV) and Maruti Suzuki True Value.
Maruti is looking at setting up 80 Arena outlets by March 2018 and is also hoping to cover the entire Maruti Suzuki retail channel to Arena outlets in the next 3-5 years. Maruti currently has 2050 traditional dealerships in India.
Focusing on the quality of the retail network, Maruti is aiming at providing its customers a seamless experience. The newly-designed outlets will have interactive product touchscreens that will provide complete information on every product in the company’s line-up.
Maruti Suzuki started revamping their product sales experience with the launch of NEXA outlets in 2015. The S-Cross is the first car to be sold through the NEXA channel. Maruti currently sells the Baleno, Baleno RS, S-Cross, Ciaz and the Ignis through the NEXA channel.
