Yamaha Fazer 250 spotted again without camouflage in a grey paint shade, to rival Pulsar RS 200.
As the launch nears for the Yamaha Fazer 250, the motorcycle has been caught testing many times. The Yamaha Fazer 250 is expected to be launched by the festive season here in India, though there is no official word from the Japanese bike maker yet.
The Yamaha Fazer 250 will get the same 249cc engine from the FZ25, capable of producing 20.9 HP and 20 Nm of torque. This powerplant will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle will come suspended via 41 mm standard telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload.
The bike will feature a 282 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc like the FZ25. Yamaha is likely to offer ABS, at least as an option. Yamaha has given the Fazer 250 a full-fairing that will aid in better aerodynamics. Being a sports tourer, Yamaha will also give it a long visor to cut down on the windblast while cruising on the highway.
The Fazer 250 will come at a premium of Rs. 20,000/- to 25,000/- over the FZ25 courtesy the full-fairing and ABS. It was spotted recently by Malkeet in Delhi where the bike is doing its test runs.
