The Benelli 300cc Adventure motorcycle is reportedly under development, to be launched in 2019.
Benelli is said to have been working on the development of a new entry-level 300cc adventure motorcycle. Benelli feels that the 200cc-400cc segments are the ones where there is a better demand and growth too will be coming from there. Benelli already has a naked and a fully faired motorcycle (TNT 300 and Tornado 302) doing duty there, and only an adventure motorcycle is missed in their portfolio.
Benelli will be using the same parallel-twin 300cc motor for this adventure motorcycle that does duty in the TNT 300, but will tweak the powerplant to generate more torque in the required rev range. Other than the engine, rest all the cycle parts will be all new including the chassis, suspension setup, wheels, instrument cluster and the sub-frame too.
We aren’t sure whether Benelli will use the TRK moniker for this new adventure motorcycle. Right now the bike is still in its early stages of development, and Benelli says, a production ready model might come up by next year. Good news is, this motorbike will be launched in India too, expect it to make it here by 2019.
