TVS is gearing up to launch the Akula 310 and the production version is likely to be called Apache RR 310S.
The TVS Akula 310 has generated insane levels of hype and anticipation and the company is going to launch this bike in the next couple of months. It has now been learnt that the production version of the Akula 310 is likely to be called Apache RR 310S.
The upcoming bike comes with features like USD front fork, rear monoshock, disc brakes, split seats, projector lamps, LED DRLs, LED indicators, LED tail lamps, clip-on handlebars, windscreen, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
On the mechanical front, the bike gets a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 34 HP of power at 9500 RPM and 28 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. Fuel efficiency is expected to be approximately 35-36 km/l.
The TVS Apache RR 310S will be produced at the company’s manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu and it will give competition to the Yamaha R3, KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
