Tata Motors owned Jaguar Land Rover has announced price cuts to the tune of half a crore!
Land Rover recently announced a price reduction across its range of SUVs. The locally assembled Discovery Sport gets a price reduction of Rs. 4 lakhs and the Range Rover Evoque gets a price reduction of Rs. 3 lakhs, across the range.
The price cuts for the imported units are expected to go even higher, as high as Rs. 30 lakhs for the Range Rover Sport and a whopping Rs. 50 lakhs for the company’s flagship, the Range Rover Vogue! However, Jaguar Land Rover have announced the prices of only the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque and prices for the remaining line-up of cars are yet to be announced.
Post Brexit, fall in the value of the Pound has made Jaguar Land Rover slash prices. The Discovery Sport now starts at Rs. 43,80,000/- and goes up to Rs. 52,48,000/-, while the Range Rover Evoque starts at Rs. 45,85,000/- and goes up to Rs. 61,40,000/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
