Yamaha has updated its bread and butter models – the FZ, FZ-S and also the Fazer, all get new colour schemes.
Yamaha has updated its best seller, the FZ range. The FZ, the FZ-S and the Fazer have been BS4 compliant since 2014. The FZ-S and Fazer have been introduced with new colours, no mechanical changes have been made to the bikes though.
The 2017 Yamaha FZ FI continues to be available in two colours, Red and Black. The FZ-S FI on the other hand, gets four new colour schemes namely Hurricane Grey, Knight Red, Lightning Cyan and Opal White. The special matte green colour shall continue to be available on the FZ-S.
The 2017 Yamaha Fazer too is offered with three new colours Midnight Black, Burning Red and Marble White. All the bikes continue to use the same 149cc fuel-injected motor that is capable of producing 13.2 BHP of power and 12.8 Nm of torque.
Prices have also gone up by Rs. 530/- for the FZ range as well as the Fazer. The FZ FI now retails at Rs. 80,726/-, the FZ-S FI is priced at Rs. 82,789/- for all the new colours while it costs Rs. 83,789/- for the matte green paint scheme, and the Fazer is priced at Rs. 87,935/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
