The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 21.90 lakhs.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR was revealed at the 2016 Intermot and now the company has launched the bike in India at a price of Rs. 21.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). The limited edition superbike is available in only one paint scheme which is the Winter Edition Black.
The ZX-10RR has quite some changes over the ZX-10R and it gets a modified cylinder head which can be fitted with higher lift racing camshafts. It also gets reinforced crank cases. The tappets on the ZX-10RR get DLC coating to reduce friction.
The ZX-10RR also gets the bi-directional Kawasaki Quick Shifter. The superbike gets a six-axis inertial measurement unit. Rider aids include sports traction control, electronic engine brake control, launch control, intelligent ABS, Kawasaki Corner Management Function and Launch Control Mode.
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is a 998cc, 4-valve, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled motor which is mated to a 6-speed return-shift gearbox. The engine unleashes 210 PS of power at 13,000 RPM. The tyre sizes are 120/70/17 and 190/55/17 for the front and rear respectively with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP rubber. The bike gets Brembo dual semi floating 330 mm discs up front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear.
