The 2017 Mercedes E-Class LWB V213 has been launched in India, priced from Rs. 56.15 Lakhs.
The Mercedes E-Class is one of the highest selling luxury sedans in India and now the automaker has launched the 10th generation model in India at a price of Rs. 56.15 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
On the outside, the E-Class gets a design that takes inspiration from the bigger S-Class and it looks classy. The LWB RHD version has been made specially for India.
The interiors combine luxury, space and comfort. There are features like Burmester audio system, 360 Park Assist, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, updated COMAND system and a lot more. You also get electrically adjustable seats and the front seat can be controlled from the rear too. You also get electric sun-blinds.
The 2017 Mercedes E-Class is offered with two engines. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 184 horses and 300 Nm while the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine churns out 255 horses and 620 Nm. The engines are mated to a 9G-TRONIC gearbox. The diesel trim also gets Air Suspension with Adaptive Damping.
The E-Class gets safety features like 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, TVS, ESP, PRE-SAFE. The luxury sedan will compete with the Volvo S90, Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Jaguar XF.
