The BMW G310R will be launched between March-June this year and it has been caught on test.
BMW Motorrad recently said that they were going to launch the G310R in India somewhere between March-June 2017. This bike will be made in India at the TVS plant in Hosur. The bike was recently spotted completely undisguised undergoing testing rounds ahead of its launch.
The BMW G310R looks similar to what was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike comes with ABS as standard. It is powered by a 313cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 33.5 HP of power at 9500 RPM while the peak torque of 28 Nm kicks in at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The BMW G310R returns a fuel efficiency of around 25-28 km/l and has a top speed of 144 km/hr. The bike comes with USD front forks, multi-function instrument cluster and ABS. BMW has trained technicians at the TVS plant to make the G310R without any flaws. The bike will be priced around Rs. 2-2.2 lakhs and will compete with the KTM Duke 390.
