The 2017 Honda City will get a new VX+ variant with a bunch of added features.
One of the most favourite sedans of Indian customers, the Honda City is all set to get a facelift and it will be launched early next year. Under the facelift, it will basically get a new variant that will stand above the current top-end trim of the City. The VX+ variant of the 2017 City will be slotted above the ongoing VX top-end version and will receive a host of added new features with some styling changes.
On the outside, it will receive LED headlamps and tail lamps, LED fog lamps and a new set of 16-inch alloys. The dashboard will be updated with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the safety front, it will get side and curtain airbags.
The company will continue with the same ongoing engine options. Currently, the Honda City comes with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, among which the petrol motor comes with an option of a 5-speed manual gearbox and CVT transmission. The diesel engine is also expected to continue with the 6-speed manual transmission.
