Indian Motorcycles is expanding their portfolio in India and the latest addition to their lineup is the new Indian Springfield. The bike has been priced at Rs. 31.07 lakhs (ex-showroom, Gurugram). It comes with a typical high-end American cruiser styling with lots and lots of shiny chrome.
The Indian Springfield comes under the Bagger category of bikes in the company’s lineup. The Springfield is meant for long distance touring. It comes with three headlights for optimum illumination of the road, sizeable windscreen, chrome finished engine and exhaust pipe, genuine leather seats and more.
Some of the key features of the Indian Springfield include ABS, Cast Aluminium Frame with Integrated Air-Box, Cruise Control, Front and rear Highway Bars, Keyless Start, Quick-Release Windshield, Quick-Release Hard Saddlebags, Tire Pressure Monitoring, Adjustable Passenger Floorboards, etc.
Powering the Indian Springfield is a Thunder Stroke 111 engine that produces 73 BHP of power with 138.9 Nm of torque. Suspension duties are done by telescopic forks up front and single shock air adjust rear suspension. The brakes include dual 300 mm floating front discs and single 300 mm floating rear disc.
