The 2017 KTM Duke 200 and Duke 250 have been revealed on the company’s official website.
KTM unveiled the new Duke 390 at the 2016 EICMA and now the Austrian firm has displayed details and images of the 2017 Duke 200 and Duke 250 on its website. The first thing that you notice is that the Duke 200 and 250 do not come with split headlamps while its siblings do get those. Apart from that, there are quite a few changes to the bikes.
The styling looks sharper now compared to the current model. The design of the headlight has been revised slightly and it now comes with LED inserts too. A lot of styling elements have been derived from the 1290 Super Duke. The fuel tank is bigger now while the key slot now finds place at the front of the tank.
The Duke 200 now comes with a full size exhaust instead of the underbelly one on the present model. KTM is also providing a new colour scheme on the bike. The new Duke 200 and Duke 250 will miss out on the TFT instrument cluster which KTM introduced on the Duke 390. The Duke 200 will come with the 199.5cc engine that will produce more power than before.
