The Piaggo Vespa 946 has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 12.05 lakhs.
Piaggio had displayed the Vespa 946 at the 2014 and 2016 Auto Expos and the premium 2-wheeler drew a lot of attention. The Vespa 946 was introduced to celebrate the company’s completion of 130 years in the industry. The scooter, which is considered as a Super Premium scooter, has finally been launched in India at a price of Rs. 12.05 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
The Piaggio Vespa 946 is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel-injected petrol engine that belts out 12.7 HP of power. The scooter also comes equipped with ASR traction control system and dual channel ABS. The scooter has a top speed of 92 km/hr and also a claimed fuel efficiency of 50 km/l.
The Vespa 946 also comes with a plethora of features like LCD multifunction display with LED lighting. The scooter is signed by Giorgio Armani and it is offered with special colours. This scooter might be super expensive, but it is definitely going to be a collectors’ favourite, especially in the elite class.
