The 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift has been revealed, will be launched in India in late 2017.

Ford has finally uncovered the 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift ahead of its debut at the LA Motor Show. As evident from the pictures, the front fascia looks different now and the styling does look very pleasing. You now get a single piece grille along with a new bumper. Even the headlamps and fog lamps have been given a redesign.

The side profile remains similar to the present model, but on closer look you notice a chrome trim on the window frames. The alloy wheels also get a new design now. At the rear, the EcoSport loses the tailgate-mounted spare wheel and it also gets a tweaked bumper and a chrome garnish on the boot lid. However, the Indian-spec model might retain the spare wheel.

The interiors of the Ford EcoSport facelift get major changes. The dashboard gets a completely new layout and the new steering wheel looks sleek. At the top of the centre console, you get a large touchscreen for the infotainment system. The AC controls are placed neatly at the bottom.

The 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift will be launched in India by the end of next year. The engine line-up is likely to remain unchanged. Ford will price it aggressively considering the fact that the compact SUV segment is booming with competition. The Ford EcoSport facelift will compete with the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra TUV300, Mahindra NuvoSport and the Tata Nexon.
