2017 Honda CBR650F unveiled at the 2016 EICMA show which comes with more power and revised mechanicals offering better dynamics too.
Honda has come up with a new CBR650F for the model year 2017. The bike gets mild cosmetic changes including a new LED headlamp, new intake and exhaust system, shorter intake funnels and a few more tweaks. The bike now looks sharper than before and the slight changes add to the freshness of the appearance.
Powering the 2017 Honda CBR650F is an updated 649cc four cylinder motor that produces 91 PS at 11,000 RPM, which was 86.47 PS before. The peak torque output of the new bike has also been increased from 62.9 Nm to 64 Nm. Honda has tweaked the exhaust to make it sound louder than before.
The chassis has also been retuned for better riding dynamics. Around the headstock it is stiffer while the spar section is more flexible now. For suspension duties, the new CBR650F gets 41 mm Showa dual bending forks at the front while rear gets monoshock with 7 preloads.
For better braking performance, the Nissin twin piston calipers have been revised. Apart from the aforementioned changes, the new 2017 Honda CBR650F remains more or less the same. The instrument cluster is untouched too. Honda might launch the new version in India next year.
