Toyota Kirloskar has launched a special edition of its popular MPV, the Innova, to celebrate five years of the Innova in India. Ever since it was launched in 2005, the Innova has become Toyota’s flagship model with over 2.2 lakhs units sold. The special edition Innova will be available at a special price of Rs 8.87 Lakhs (ex showroom Delhi) and will be only available in one colour, premium super white.
Only 700 units will be up for grabs for a limited period of 4 months. The Innova special edition will be loaded with power windows, power door lock, power steering, body coloured grille and hood mould, body coloured rear door garnish and special edition graphics. The Innova has remained almost the same since it was launched in 2005. Though it did undergo cosmetic surgery recently, it still has enough to take on the competition and sales figures speak of that. Even though its doing well, surely, the Innova is due for a replacement soon.
