The Renault Lodgy World Edition has been launched. It is a much-enhanced version of the regular MPV with as many as 25 enhancements both on the outside and inside.
A typical family drive on a weekend calls unanimously for a Multi Purpose Vehicle. Many front running companies have tried their hand at this segment and have tasted varied success. Renault, with its Lodgy, checked all the boxes and is now a popular vote in its segment. Riding on the success of the original, Renault has planned on expanding its MPV domain by launching the Lodgy World Edition.
The World Edition is a revised version of the original with as many as 25 enhancements on the outside and on the inside. The latest from the French car maker will be the costliest from its Lodgy lineup. There are two variants for the World Edition, one being the 83 BHP model and the other, the more powerful 108 BHP variant. It is priced at Rs. 9.74 lakhs and Rs. 10.40 lakhs respectively. The former model gets a 5-speed manual whereas the latter gets a 6-speed manual transmission.
As for the changes, exterior treatment is more significant on the Renault Lodgy. Differences include a jewel-studded front grille, fog-lamps with chrome garnish, two-tone aerodynamic bumper, black wheel-arch cladding, 15-inch Nepta finish alloy wheels and ‘WORLD EDITION’ badging. It also receives a rear spoiler and newer body graphics, thereby cementing its claim as a renewed version.
The Renault Lodgy has greeted numerous Indian families with its comfort, utility and performance. As a proof for this, it has an acclaimed ARAI mileage of 21.04 km/l. For the changes on the inside, it receives a glossy black steering wheel along with orange-outlined instrument console to give it a stylish appearance. It also provides an optional 3CARE package from Renault, that ensures 3 years of warranty and road side assistance upto 60,000 kms and 3 years of periodic maintenance service upto 30,000 kms.
