Toyota is all geared up to launch the 2016 Innova in India and the MPV is equipped with a lot of features, thus making for a much more value-for-money proposition.
There is a lot of buzz floating around the soon-to-be-launched Toyota Innova and we’ve now got some more details on our hands. As we know, the 2016 Toyota Innova will be offered in 4 variants – G, GX, V and ZX. Toyota will also offer a choice of two engines – 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre and the Innova will also get both manual as well as automatic transmissions.
The ZX Automatic is going to be the top most variant on the new Innova and it will come with equipment like Navigation, 7 airbags, 215/55 17-inch alloy wheels, half wooden steering, automatic climate control for the front and rear, automatic headlamps, smart key entry with push start, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Control.
The GX Automatic trim will be coming with 2 airbags, ABS, 16-inch alloys and automatic climate control. The 2.8-litre engine will be available only on the top-end automatic trim. The 2.4-litre engine will also be offered on the top automatic trim and Toyota expects this variant to receive the highest demand.
Toyota will be positioning the new Innova between compact SUVs and entry-level Germans. It is a much more value-for-money package as compared to the outgoing model. The Japanese automaker will launch the car on 5th May and deliveries are slated to begin from 13th May. Just like the older Innova, the new model is also expected to bring in a lot of volumes for the automaker.
