General Motors has now given the Chevrolet TrailBlazer a much needed facelift and it comes with refreshed looks and improved interiors now.
The Chevrolet TrailBlazer is being sold in global markets since a while but the American automaker launched the SUV in India in 2015. The TrailBlazer failed to make an impact on buyers and went on to become a sales dud. Globally, the TrailBlazer is all set to get a facelift which has now been revealed at the Bangkok Motor Show and the 2016 Chevrolet TrailBlazer facelift (Premier) is going to be launched in India as well.
The front looks more striking than before and it comes with a new bonnet, redesigned grille, new headlamps and new fog lamp surrounds. The design looks more modern especially compared to the current styling. There is a huge dose of chrome on the front fascia but it succeeds in making the car look huge.
The side profile looks similar to the current model apart from the new alloy wheels. The rear gets tweaked tail lights and a redesigned bumper while everything else remains unchanged. Moving to the insides, the dashboard now gets an all-new styling which looks very appealing while the new infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay.
The 2016 Chevrolet TrailBlazer facelift comes with the same mechanicals. The 2.8-litre Duramax turbocharged diesel engine produces 197 HP of power. The vehicle will be launched in India in 2017 and hopefully it could win some customers this time around. The Chevrolet TrailBlazer competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
